Who we are
Bogdan Marcu, with 17-year experience in construction and property development, has made significant contributions to various projects, including upscale residential developments, luxury hotels, and nuclear power plants. Over the last ten years, Bogdan has adeptly led several key projects, managing all phases from planning and design through to completion. He has built a network of reliable contractors and teams of experts, all while focusing on delivering high-quality service at competitive prices. Bogdan has now joined forces with experienced construction professionals at MARBASE, aiming to position their company as a leading, customer-focused player in the local market, with a commitment to consistent, high-quality output.
Matt has 19 years commercial experience in construction in commercial fit out and refurb,
new build residential, listed building refurb and more. He delivers on the commercial and contractual aspects of the business providing steady control for MARBASE and our clients. Along with the rest of the management team, he will be striving to develop the good working relationships required with our supply chain to enable efficient delivery of our clients projects. Further to this, the skills Matt has obtained during his time in the industry combine well with his desire to ensure MARBASE build our team by developing our people from within.
Bogdan Balusi is a highly driven and energetic Senior Contracts Manager with over 15 years of experience leading large, complex construction projects, primarily for main contractors. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). His expertise spans all project phases, from pre-construction to post-construction, and includes managing all aspects of contracts, consistently meeting goals with diligent oversight. He possesses comprehensive knowledge of construction standards, methodologies, and value-engineering principles, coupled with standout leadership and communication skills.
He’s proficient in administering contracts such as NEC and JCT.
